Being offered for your consideration is this superb Victorian Footed Teapot. This lovely teapot is decorated with an Aesthetic movement design with etched leaves and foliage on both the front and back,
elaborate lion head
accents with lion paw feet
and topped with what looks to be a footed egg finial.
The teapot is
in
remarkable well cared for
condition
with no denting or repair work with clean shiny silver and with minimal antique wear (see images). It measures
7 7/8″ tall,
8 3/4″ in width from tip of spout to tip of handle and is 5″ in diameter. It is signed Staunton on the bottom with other markings that were so faint I could not image them. A lovely old teapot from the 1870’s period in wonderful condition!
